About

Hi, I'm Tanner!

I have worked throughout the greater Seattle area on maps professionally for several years, producing and selling custom projects.

My work is also displayed at local venues near Seattle, and I can be found at a few art fairs and public markets with some of my public domain artwork.

My commission work primarily consists of custom world or dungeon maps, sometimes including existing sci-fi and fantasy IPs. Many clients need reference material for their homebrewed tabletop RPG worlds, or for one-shot gameplay sessions; I value the opportunity to bring these worlds to life through stunning, functional maps.

If you would like to commission a map or have any questions regarding pricing or product availability, feel free to reach out.

Maps of All Kinds

I have worked on maps of various types for over a decade, honing my visual style to its current form. I have made digital world maps, hand-drawn dungeon maps, coffee-stained city maps, and everything in between. If you have a very specific commission request, reach out and ask. I am more than happy to work with customers to make a final product that matches their vision.

For a closer look at my work, take a look at my Instagram page or at my portfolio.

A Passion Project turned job

Our Mission

Chromus Maps is currently a side-project, and one that requires a great deal of time, money, and energy to maintain. I never thought that I would be able to sell maps to strangers in any professional setting; today, this business is a huge part of my income and day-to-day work.

My hope is to someday operate this business full-time, making more maps for friends and strangers alike. I love the feeling of bringing worlds to life through the medium of pen-and-paper, and with any luck (and some support from customers) I will continue to be able to do this for years to come.
